BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Warren County Planning Commission approved several development-related proposals during its monthly meeting Thursday evening.

Commission members considered a variety of agenda items, including plans for a new event venue on Scottsville Road, a proposed recreational vehicle park on Plum Springs Road and multiple rezoning requests.

Following discussion, each item brought before the commission was approved.

Planning officials say the monthly meetings provide residents with an opportunity to learn about proposed developments, ask questions and offer feedback before recommendations are made.

“It’s very important because the Planning Commission, along with the staff, values everyone’s input and feedback,” said Rachel Hurt, senior planner for the Warren County Planning Commission. “We welcome any comments or questions that the public may have.”

Officials encourage residents to attend future meetings and participate in the planning process as Warren County continues to grow and new development projects are proposed.
