Warren County fire units respond to Plum Springs house fire

PLUM SPRINGS, Ky. – Warren County units responded to a reported house fire Tuesday morning in Plum Springs.

According to a social media post by the Warren County Fire Department System, firefighters were dispatched at 10:36 a.m. to a house fire.

Units from Richardsville, Smiths Grove, Gott and Barren River fire departments responded to the scene.

Richardsville Fire Department Chief Brian Lee arrived on scene first, according to the department, before reporting a one-story single-family home had nothing visible from the exterior.

Additional crews arrived, with firefighters reportedly encountering smoke at the front door. Crews quickly found a fire in the bedroom and extinguished it before it could reach other areas of the home, according to the department.

No occupants were located during searches, the department says.
