Warren County Fire Department units respond to barn fire in Alvaton

ALVATON, Ky. – Warren County fire units responded Monday to a barn fire in Alvaton.

According to a social media post by the Warren County Fire Department System, crews and units from Alvaton, Plano, Richardsville and Gott responded to the scene.

The department states upon arrival, a one-story metal barn with a modified attic storage space was located with fire and smoke showing.

Multiple hand lines were deployed. According to fire officials, the fire was knocked down quickly, and the owner stated all citizens were accounted for and safe.

The department says a quick combination response and large capacity water tankers prevented a complete loss.
