Veteran’s Affairs Office needs winter coat donations
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With the temperatures falling and winter quickly approaching, warm clothes are essential. However, some people don’t have the right gear to handle the elements.
The Bowling Green Veteran’s Affairs Office is asking for donations that will be given to veterans to keep warm and fed through the winter months.
Hats, scarves, gloves, and coats are all needed.
The office is desperate specifically for thick winter coats.
Donated items will be distributed to local veterans in need.
Non-perishable ready-to-eat food donations are also requested to help feed local homeless veterans.
Items can be dropped off Tuesdays through Thursdays from 10 to 2 at the Veteran’s Affairs Office on Fairview Avenue.
