Vehicle crashes into Leitchfield Subway after ball joint breaks

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. – Authorities in Grayson County responded to a single-vehicle collision Sunday morning.

According to K105, a ball joint on an SUV broke, causing the driver to lose control and crash into a Subway on South Main Street.

Leitchfield Police Department officers say the SUV left the roadway, entered the Captain D’s parking lot, crashed through a fence and jumped a retaining wall.

The SUV then traveled between the Subway sign pole and struck the building, according to K105.

The driver was not injured.
