UPDATE: Subject in custody after barricade situation in Glasgow, no charges to be filed

GLASGOW, Ky. – A subject is reportedly in custody after a barricade incident in Glasgow on Wednesday, according to Glasgow Police Department public information officer Terry Flatt.
Flatt confirmed the subject was in custody as of 4 p.m.
Earlier Wednesday, East Main Street shut down from Gorin Park to Houchens IGA, according to police.
According to Flatt, the closure was due to the barricaded subject. Flatt says the department was communicating with the barricaded individual Wednesday afternoon.
Flatt says the individual was experiencing a mental health event. No charges will be filed.
