UPDATE: Sheriff’s office arrests barricaded subject in Laurel County

UPDATE (7:15pm) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says the suspect was safely arrested.

Sheriff John Root says more information will be released Monday evening.

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says it is on scene of a reported barricaded subject in a camper.

Authorities say the scene is on Star Hill Road, three miles north of London.

The sheriff’s office states attempts are being made to “safely arrest this individual.”

An identity has not been released at this time.
