Units respond to barn fire in Taylor County

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. – Units responded to a barn fire in Taylor County Monday afternoon, according to first responders.

The Taylor County Fire Department says firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire at 4446 Old Columbia Road Monday afternoon.

Upon arrival, firefighters say they located a barn fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters say they were able to control the fire with minor damage to a nearby residence.

The agency says it was on scene for two hours. No injuries were reported.

Taylor County firefighters were assisted by Campbellsville Taylor County EMS, the Campbellsville Taylor County Emergency Communications Center, Taylor County Emergency Management and Taylor County RECC.
