Two vehicles totaled in fire near Nashville Road home

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A vehicle fire in Bowling Green destroyed two vehicles but was stopped before it could spread to a nearby home, according to the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department.

Firefighters were dispatched to 13340 Nashville Road on Thursday after callers reported a vehicle fully engulfed in flames and threatening a second nearby vehicle.

Officials said both vehicles were parked approximately 15 to 20 feet from a residence, raising concerns that the fire could spread to the home.

Engine 58 and Engine 54 responded to the scene, along with mutual aid assistance from Warren County Fire Department Stations 112 and 123.

Upon arrival, firefighters found two vehicles involved in fire conditions, with one vehicle completely engulfed in flames. Crews quickly deployed a handline and brought the fire under control.
