Trump 2020: Orlando prepares for campaign launch

(NBC News) Thousands of supporters have gathered in Orlando, Florida ahead of tonight’s official launch of the Trump 2020 re-election campaign.

The huge crowd is filling the grounds around the Amway Center, waiting for President Trump’s arrival.

Some, like Vivian Hall, have been here since early Monday morning.

“It would only be Trump that would make me do this,” Hall says.

“I expect to hear how he’s going to keep America free and how we’re all going to work together,” Teresa Stevens said as she waited outside.

Tonight’s announcement is not a surprise. The president has hosted more than 50 political rallies during his time in office and actually filed re-election paperwork just hours after his inauguration in 2017.
