Trooper Daniel Priddy receives state recognition for public affairs work
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-Kentucky State Police Post 3 Trooper Daniel Priddy has been recognized by the state for his hard work in our community.
He was awarded the state’s Public Affairs Officer of the Year at the Sworn Awards ceremony in Lexington. He’s only been a public affairs officer for three years.
We’ve got a good one here in Bowling Green. In 2011, Trooper Priddy was the State Dispatcher of the Year, in 2017 he was Post 3 Trooper of the Year…and in 2018, Trooper Priddy received the state trooper of the year award….
“I don’t think any of us get into this line of work for awards or accolades. I think that most people who want to be troopers want to do that because they want to have a positive impact in their communities and the place they live,” said Priddy.
Four other troopers from Post 3 were among the 75 officers honored with awards at the ceremony.
