Trigg County man arrested for arson

CADIZ, Ky. – A Trigg County man is charged with arson following an investigation.

On Sept. 4, Kentucky State Police investigators were requested after a barn fire in the 5000 block of Princeton Road in Cadiz. Initial reports indicated that the fire was intentionally set.

Investigators say evidence indicates the fire was not accidental or of natural origin. KSP also gathered witness statements.

59-year-old Robert Ingram, of Cadiz, was identified as a suspect and arrested on charges of second-degree arson and first-degree criminal mischief.

Ingram was lodged at the Christian County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
