Traffic impact expected in Barren County during 400-mile Yard Sale

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Barren County Sheriff’s Office is advising drivers to travel cautiously as the 400-mile Yard Sale continues this week.

Authorities say the sale is taking place through June 7, and drivers should expect increased traffic, pedestrians and vehicles entering and exiting roadways.

In this area, deputies say to pay particular attention in the area of Edmonton Road and New Bowling Green Road.

Drivers should allow for extra travel time and watch for shoppers along the roads.
