Toys for Tots hosting its annual “Hand it to a Hero” toy drive

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Toys for Tots is gearing up for the annual “Hand it to a Hero” toy drive, where local service men and women will be collecting toy donations at a local superstore.

Hand it to a Hero will take place Saturday, November 30, from 10am-2pm at Walmart on Campbell Lane.

This event will feature local heroes from the Warren County Regional Jail, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Bowling Green Police Department and Fire Department, WKU Police Department, Kentucky State Police, and the Marine Corps League and Recruiters.

Last year, thousands of toys were collected at this event which allowed over 6,500 children to receive gifts on the holidays.

Toys for Tots will be taking telephone requests weekdays from 7am-8pm from November 18-December 18.
