Thursday update: Coronavirus numbers in south central Kentucky

Governor Andy Beshear announced the fourth highest daily number of cases since the start of the pandemic on Thursday. 1,330 new cases were reported during the press conference.

17 more Kentuckians have died from the virus Thursday.. That brings the total number of lives lost here in Kentucky to 1,380.

According to the Barren River District Health Department, there have been 8,872 total cases in the surrounding counties combined since the start of the pandemic, 7,355 have recovered.

-WARREN COUNTY: 5,054 (+78)

– BARREN COUNTY: 1070 (+66)

– LOGAN COUNTY: 739(+11)

– BUTLER COUNTY: 412 (+2)

– ALLEN COUNTY: 516 (+12)

– SIMPSON COUNTY: 343 (+14)

– HART COUNTY: 353 (+44)

– EDMONSON COUNTY: 195 (+7)

– METCALFE COUNTY:190 (+8)
