Three pedestrians struck by car on Smallhouse Road

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A mechanical problem with a vehicle’s brakes led to a wreck in which three pedestrians were struck by a car on Smallhouse Road at about 10:06 a.m. Friday.

Warren County sheriff’s deputies were called to the incident in the 1700 block of Smallhouse Road in the county.

All three people and the driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower said.

“There was a mechanical issue with their brakes, the car left the travel portion of the roadway and struck three pedestrians,” he said. “It was just an accident that had some minor injury.”
