Theresa Caputo brings live show to SKyPAC on Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Theresa Caputo, best known from the hit TV series “Long Island Medium,” is bringing her live show to Bowling Green this weekend for an event centered on messages of healing, comfort and connection.

“Theresa Caputo Live: The Experience” is this Sunday, April 19, at 3 pm at SKyPAC. The live event is designed to give audience members what Caputo describes as meaningful connections with departed loved ones.

Caputo said the experience is meant to offer encouragement not only to those who receive readings directly, but also to others in the audience.

“It’s just going to be a night filled with faith, hope and peace,” Caputo said. “That’s the best way I can describe the experience. I might not be looking at someone or ever look or glance in their section. But the things that you hear and what you witness, you’re going to be able to place in your own life and those are also messages from your departed loved ones as well.”

Caputo told News 40 she never knows ahead of time who will receive a reading during a show. She said she will not force a message on anyone who is not ready to receive it. She also said the event is not about convincing people to believe in her abilities, but about encouraging belief in something beyond death.

“This is not about believing in me or in mediums,” Caputo said. “I don’t care if people believe in what I do. That is not what this is about. This is about I want people to believe in an afterlife and I want people to believe in themselves to know that the things that they sense and feel is real.”

Caputo said she is honored by the trust people place in her, even as skeptics continue to question her work.
