South Central KY Cultural Center honors WWII Veterans
Glasgow, KY. – The South Central Kentucky Cultural Center honored World War II veterans on Saturday afternoon.
The Cultural Center had things about the home front going on throughout the building, as well as pictures, printed stories, reenactments, and speakers to share information about those that were in the military during that time.
The Cultural Center even had refreshments that are WWII rationed recipes and “war punch” to drink that was WWII era as well.
Sherry Wesley, a volunteer at the Cultural Center stated, “We need to appreciate our freedoms. We owe a lot to all veterans and today we happen to be honoring World War II veterans specifically, but any veteran today.”
