SKYPAC to host free 250 Years of America celebration concert
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKYPAC) is hosting a 250 Years of America celebration concert this July.
On Tuesday, SKYPAC announced “A Star-Spangled Spectacular: Celebrating 250 Years of America,” a patriotic celebration to be held on Thursday, July 2, at the Rita & Jim Scott Concert Hall at 7:30 pm. The concert is free to the public.
SKYPAC says the event will feature Orchestra Kentucky and the Orchestra Kentucky Chorale, joined by guest vocalist Steve Amerson.
The approximately 90-minute concert will be presented without intermission.
General Dan Cherry and Steve Basham will deliver special remarks.
Free reservation tickets will be available beginning on Friday, May 22 at 10 am at www.theskypac.com, by phone at 270-904-1880, or in person at The SKYPAC at 601 College Street in Bowling Green.
