SKYPAC to host free 250 Years of America celebration concert

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKYPAC) is hosting a 250 Years of America celebration concert this July.
On Tuesday, SKYPAC announced “A Star-Spangled Spectacular: Celebrating 250 Years of America,” a patriotic celebration to be held on Thursday, July 2, at the Rita & Jim Scott Concert Hall at 7:30 pm. The concert is free to the public.
SKYPAC says the event will feature Orchestra Kentucky and the Orchestra Kentucky Chorale, joined by guest vocalist Steve Amerson.
The approximately 90-minute concert will be presented without intermission.
General Dan Cherry and Steve Basham will deliver special remarks.
