Sheriff urges caution for motorists in rural areas after second tractor collision results in fatality
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Friday night, for the second time in less than a month, a vehicle versus tractor crash in Warren County claimed a life.
Friday night, a man was ejected from his vehicle and killed when he crashed into a tractor on Glasgow Road.
A few weeks earlier on July 27, a woman was killed on Scottsville Road when she crashed her vehicle into a tractor.
Warren County Sheriff Brett Hightower is reminding the community that there is a lot of farmland in the area and with tractors on our roadways every single day, both passenger vehicles and tractor drivers should take extra precaution when driving.
The laws on moving farm implements vary from one piece of equipment to another. State law also addresses under what circumstances they can be moved from one location to another.
