Search continues for missing man in Knott County

KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is continuing a search for a missing man in Knott County on Wednesday.

According to Trooper Gayheart, public affairs officer with KSP 13, law enforcement will be gathered along with search and rescue personnel around Big Branch Road in Knott County.

Crews will continue searching for Risner in the area.

Additional details about the search have not been released at this time.

According to a social media post by Gayheart on April 4, Risner was last seen around Big Branch Road. He was last wearing a gray Nike sweatshirt and camouflage Crocs.

Risner is 25 years old with light brown hair and is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall.
