Scam alert: Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office warns of call scam

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. – The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is warning the public of a scam going around.

According to a social media post by ECSO, they have received reports of someone calling claiming to be Dish Network needing a check for upgrades.

This is not legitimate. Do not send anyone a check without verifying it’s for legitimate purposes.
