He holds a bachelor’s degree in social studies with teacher certification for grades eight through 12, a master’s degree in educational administration with principalship in all grades, rank one in educational administration and certificates for director of pupil personnel, supervisor of instruction and school superintendency.
Russell stated, “It is truly an honor to be named principal at Beaver Dam Elementary. As a former student at Beaver Dam Elementary, a life-long Beaver Dam resident, and BDE assistant principal, this school and its tradition has always held a major role in my life. I am excited to continue to positively impact the lives of others, help our students reach their fullest potential, support a safe learning environment, and further develop the strong school and community relationships that past principals have been able to successfully create. I am very much looking forward to stepping into this new role and the new challenges that accompany it, and am grateful to work with an amazing staff, wonderful students, caring parents and supportive community.”
