Road work expected to cause delays for portion of Mammoth Cave National Park

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park is reminding drivers about expected traffic impacts due to road work.

According to a social media post by the park, work on Frozen Niagara Road has resumed. As a result, the park says drivers might encounter increased truck and equipment traffic along Cave City Road.

Park officials are asking drivers to stay aware of workers present in the area and to be prepared to stop for brief traffic delays of no more than five minutes at a time.

Visitors entering the park using this route are encouraged to allow additional travel time to reach their cave tours.
