Road collapse reported in Knott County
KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. – A portion of a roadway is closed in Knott County after troopers say it collapsed Tuesday night.
According to Trooper Matt Gayheart, public affairs officer for Kentucky State Police Post 13, the collapse occurred near the intersection of Mallie Road and Branhams Creek Road.
The road will be closed until repairs can be made.
Authorities say to avoid the area if possible and to use caution.
