Police: Officer serving warrant wounded, suspect killed
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Authorities say a Kentucky police officer has been shot and wounded and a suspect killed during a narcotics investigation. Louisville Metro Police Assistant Chief Joshua Judah told news outlets that detectives were serving a warrant at a home Friday morning in Louisville when they were fired upon. The officers returned fire. Judah says one officer was shot and taken to the University of Louisville Hospital with what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries. One suspect died at the scene and a second suspect was taken into custody. More information was not immediately released.
