Police department goes bowling for a good cause
GLASGOW, Ky. – A local police department raised money for a non-profit through an event called “Patrollin’ and Bowlin'”.
The Glasgow Police Department was able to donate over $2600 to Community Relief Fund after their fundraising event Thursday night.
The non-profit helps locals with bills, finding a place to stay, and other services to assist community members.
The event consisted of 14 teams with a total of 28 people who bowled three games.
The winning team as well as the winning individual received a gift card to Walmart.
GPD says the event was successful and they plan to make this a yearly event.
