One man hospitalized following a shooting in Bowling Green
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Bowling Green Police responded to a shooting at around 10:20 p.m. Tuesday on the corner of W 15th Avenue and Butler Way.
According to Bowling Green Police Officer Ronnie Ward, a passerby saw a man in his car injured from a gunshot wound and called 9-1-1.
Upon arrival, police shattered the window of a car to get the man out of the vehicle, according to Ward
Police say the man was then taken to an area hospital for treatment.
As of midnight, police had not made any arrest and the name of the victim has not been released.
The condition of the person shot has not been released.
Police are in the process of going door to door and speaking with neighbors and witnesses to determine what happened.
Police do believe this to be an isolated incident.
