NWS Louisville preliminary results show 2 tornadoes in Breckinridge Co.

BRECKINRIDGE COUNTY, Ky. – The National Weather Service Louisville says preliminary results show two tornadoes touched down in Breckinridge County Sunday night into Monday morning.
According to NWS Louisville, an EF-0 that reached 85 miles per hour and an EF-1 that reached 100 mph touched down in Breckinridge County.
The results are from damage surveys conducted from June 21-22, NWS Louisville states.
Breckinridge County Emergency Management says the brief but “fairly intense” EF-1 began along Parr Road before quickly intensifying and approaching an area near County Road 2780. Emergency officials say that tornado destroyed a shed, removing the roof and most of the walls, along with snapping trees near it.
In addition, emergency management says the EF-0 was very brief and touched down near Heckman Lane. Emergency officials say it hit an unoccupied mobile home head on, “flipping it over and damaging some of the roof.” According to emergency management, the tornado then traveled down a bluff before causing tree damage, including a tree that snapped onto a home on Cook Ridge Road.
In addition, the organization says an EF-1 tornado that reached 100 mph touched down in Clark County, Indiana, and an EF-0 tornado that reached 85 mph touched down in Hancock County, Kentucky.
NWS Louisville says it is conducting additional damage surveys Tuesday in portions of Indiana.
