New Covid-19 Case Increases Continue to Decline in Kentucky

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Governor Andy Beshear announced another day over day decrease in new coronavirus cases as 113 new positive cases were reported, which brings the statewide total to 9,184.

Beshear also announced nine new deaths as the number of Kentuckians lost to the virus rises to 409.

The Governor did pass along good news, however, as a total of 3,181 people have recovered from Covid-19 and over 220,000 tests have been administered throughout the Commonwealth. That is an increase of over 20,000 tests since Wednesday.

Locally, Warren County once again reported the largest increase in new coronavirus cases with 26 additional positives, which brings their total to 989.

Logan, Barren, Hart and Metcalfe counties all reported additional positive cases as well.

Across the WNKY viewing area, a total of 680 people have recovered from the virus.
