Nearly $2.4 million provided for Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport is receiving over $2 million for future projects.
According to Sen. Mitch McConnell, the Federal Aviation Administration will provide the funds through the Airport Improvement Project.
In total, the funding amounts to $2,379,267, which officials say will help to allow the rehabilitation of the airport’s runways, including lighting installation and investments to improve safety.
Susan Harmon, airport manager of the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport, says these investments are critical for quality and safety.
This year’s government funding bill, which included AIP funding, became law at the end of last year.
