National Pretzel Day celebrated at Natcher Elementary

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Totally Baked Pretzels are celebrating National Pretzel Day today by going out into the community.

Their day started at William Natcher Elementary this morning, where they served pretzels to the faculty and staff.

A pretzel folding contest also took place in partnership with the Hunters Crossing Neighborhood Association from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday evening.

It’s been a fun day allowing folks to spend time with each other and enjoy some food together.

“So this gives the staff an opportunity to have something that is different from their normal, everyday schedule. It gives an opportunity to have, even, some community time and eat a meal together that’s different from the school,” Natcher Elementary principal Matt Thornhill says.

If you’d like to learn more about Hunters Crossing, they are located across from the WKU Farm off Nashville Road at Elrod Road.

The Hunters Crossing building itself is located on the corner of Earlston & Shetland Drives.
