Muttley’s Walk-in Dog Wash opens in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Tired of washing your furry friend in your bathtub? Not anymore! Muttley’s Walk-in Dog Wash just opened up in Bowling Green. 

Located off of Cumberland Trace Road, Muttley’s is open for walk-in appointments Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sundays from 1-5 p.m. to give your puppy or dog a bath. 

Owner, Joe Bettersworth, is also giving free baths to any dog that has been adopted from the Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society. 

He said it’s a great option as some groomers are booked out months in advance. And your place won’t get messy either. 

“You know there’s a lot of people who would sit and do it themselves but it’s such a pain to do it at home, bending over the bathtub, your back starts hurting, you get hair clogs in your own drain so why not bring it here and leave the mess up to me,” said Bettersworth. 

A wash with product provided is $12.99. If you bring your own products, it costs $10.99. You also get to brush and blow dry your dog after.
