Multiple injured in Whitley County crash, 3 flown to hospital

WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. – Three people were flown for treatment following a crash in Whitley County on Saturday.

According to a social media post, around 11:30 a.m. CST, the Goldbug Fire Department and Williamsburg Fire Department responded as mutual aid to a three-vehicle crash around the 2000 block of Kentucky Highway 92 west.

First responders say entrapment was reported, and multiple people were injured.

Firefighters say they extricated at least one person from a vehicle involved. Three occupants were flown from the scene to out of town medical facilities.

Other patients were treated on scene, first responders say.

Responding agencies included GBVFD, WFD, WCEMS, McCreary Co. EMS, Campbell Co. TN EMS, Air Evac, Air Methods, Whitley County Sheriff’s Department and Williamsburg Police Department.
