Monday Motivator – Kiosha Owens

During the Live United Awards on January 24th Kiosha Owens, a mother of six who dropped out of high school at age 15, received one of the biggest awards of the night.

The shooting star award.

But it wasn’t an easy road to get where she is today.

And now she just wants to be an example for her kids to follow.

Owens is currently preparing to take spring classes at South Central Kentucky Technical College.

Her major remains undecided but she does plan to volunteer and work part-time at the Foundry Christian Center.
