Med Center Health’s Charity Ball back in person this year
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.-Med Center Health’s annual Charity Ball is finally back in person after a two year hiatus due to Covid.
The highly anticipated event will take place on November 12th at the Sloan Convention Center.
The ‘Ball of the Year’ benefits The Community Clinic and The Dental Clinic. The clinics offer low cost health and dental care to area individuals and families who might not be able to afford them.
Last year alone, over 2,000 patients were seen at the two clinics.
“This event, 100% of the proceeds go towards folks in our community, that’s why they are able to see so many, 2,300 [patients] last year. and how many countless other thousands and thousands that have been seen since this event started going on,” said Truist Market President Clay Pendleton. Truist has been a sponsor since 2005.
Last year, the virtual charity ball raised over $324,000. This year they have a goal of $350,0000. For more information, click here.
