Med Center Health celebrates annual fundraiser tree lighting

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – More than 25 years of holiday tradition begin again as Med Center Health lights their Make The Season Bright tree, kicking off their winter fundraiser!

Right now, people can purchase a holiday light in honor of someone special and support the mission of community health.

New this year, a strand of green lights to honor Med Center Health front-line workers decorates the Christmas tree. These are also available to purchase and dedicate to your healthcare hero.

Med Center Health Foundation executive director Amy Hardin said, “ In a time when these heroes have really been the focus of so much of our time and energy, it’s just a great way to let the community know we are here. We are honored to serve you and we are we’re just so delighted to have this beautiful tree with us again this year.”

Tree lighting ceremony MC Chris Allen said, “This is just something that people can look forward to and know that they’ve contributed to the lights on the tree. And it has a meaning. Every light has a meaning.”

The lights are available for purchase until December 31. Both the donor’s and recipient’s name will be posted on the Med Center Health website.
