Man wanted for alleged kidnapping in custody

CENTRAL CITY, Ky. – A man has turned himself in after being sought by law enforcement for several offenses, police say.

The Central City Police Department says Dwuan Shrewsberry is now in custody. Shrewsberry had an active warrant for kidnapping of a minor, abandonment of a minor, theft by unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and first-degree wanton endangerment.

Shrewsberry was possibly dangerous and a flight risk, according to police.
