Man transported to hospital after Christian County horse and buggy crash

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (WKDZ) – One man is injured following a horse and buggy crash in Christian County Saturday.

According to a report by WKDZ, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office says at 10:23 a.m. Saturday, a truck driven by Joseph King was traveling southbound along the 700 block of Lafayette Road when it collided with a horse and buggy in front of it.

WKDZ reports the operator of the horse and buggy, John Zook, was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville for treatment of his injuries.

According to WKDZ, the horse was not injured in the crash.
