Man found dead from possible drowning at Lake Cumberland

RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. – One man is dead after a reported potential drowning at Lake Cumberland Wednesday.

The Russell County Coroner’s Office says it responded to the Caney Fork Creek area of Lake Cumberland Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. for an apparent drowning.

According to officials, 28-year-old Joshua Tyler Wethington of Casey County was pronounced dead.

Wethington was transported to Frankfort for an autopsy, officials say. The results of the autopsy are not yet available.
