Man flown for treatment after forklift accident in Hopkinsville

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WKDZ) – A man has been flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment after a forklift accident Thursday morning.
According to a report by WKDZ, the accident occurred on West 15th Street in Hopkinsville.
WKDZ reports Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Capt. Payton Rogers says the agency was dispatched to Mize Machine Shop regarding a 68-year-old man who had sustained a severe injury “involving a forklift and an estimated 1,000 pounds that landed on his foot.”
WKDZ says that man has been flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
