Logan County woman charged with possession of heroin, marijuana

AUBURN, Ky. – Agents with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force answered a drug complaint call on Cemetery Road in Auburn and once inside, they said they found drugs and paraphernalia in the home along with a toddler.
According to the citation, agents immediately smelled marijuana coming from inside the home.
Mistie Cropper, 25, denied agents consent to search the residence, according to her arrest citation.
While law enforcement officers obtained a search warrant, Cropper attempted to dispose of heroin in the bedroom, according to the citation.
Officials located numerous capped syringes, one of which was loaded with red liquid, which Cropper stated was an unknown pill, according to her citation.
In the bedroom, agents also located drug paraphernalia and a clear plastic bag containing white powder, which law enforcement officers said in the citation, field tested positive for heroin.
Cropper is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (heroin), first degree possession of a controlled substance first offense (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
She was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
