Kyle Busch addresses the progress on switching manufacturers with KBM

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The NASCAR world was rocked with the news that its biggest free agent since Dale Earnhardt Jr. was finally off the market.

Kyle Busch announced on Tuesday that he would be joining the legendary team Richard Childress Racing hoping the change will get him back to his winning ways. With the change in teams going from Toyota to Chevrolet comes a change in manufacturers with his Truck series team Kyle Busch Motorsports. During the announcement Busch said that he was still in talks trying to get the details together.

Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway after his qualifying effort, Busch expanded on his hopes for the team and that he hopes the deal will come together soon for the sake of all of his KBM employees.

“It’s work every day, so trying to figure all that out, yeah, there’s a few options on the table, but they being quickly snatched up by other teams. Yeah we have about 50 something employees at KBM that are important to me and a lot of been there for a long time. Couple ever been there since the very beginning since day one when we didn’t have any paint on the floors, so it would be nice to be able to get something together for them,” Busch said while talking to the media on Friday.
