Kentucky State Police Post 3 announces traffic safety checkpoints

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police Post is reminding drivers of upcoming traffic safety checkpoints.

According to a release, KSP uses checkpoints to deter law violations and keep the public safe.

The checkpoints will be located in high-visibility areas and will focus on operator impairment, vehicle equipment deficiencies (confirming appropriate vehicle registration and insurance), and driver licensing.

KSP Post 3 serves Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, Simpson, and Warren County.
