Kentucky State Police apprehend escaped inmate in Barren County

OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police has apprehended an escaped Daviess County inmate in Barren County.

KSP Post 16 says 45-year-old Angela S.Long escaped from Dismas Charities in Owensboro on Friday. She left the facility in a black car.

Long was located and taken into custody in Barren County on Monday.

KSP says Long was serving a sentence for various theft and substance abuse-related charges.

According to the Barren County Detention Center website, Long is charged with second-degree escape.
