Kentucky animal shelters receive a massive donation

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Volunteers and employees at a local animal shelter decided to share the wealth after receiving a large donation of puppy pads. recently donated $80,000 worth of puppy pads to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society.

The shelter decided to donate many of those pads to 12 other area shelters because the facility does not have storage for over 100,000 pads.

Volunteers from those other shelters showed up to help unload a truck Wednesday, then collected the pads to bring them back to their own shelters.

As you can imagine, local shelters are always in need of donations.

Other county shelters to receive the pads include Allen, Butler, and Logan counties.
