Woman charged with killing man whose body found after fire

STANFORD, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police say a woman has been charged with killing a man whose body was found after a house fire. Police said in a statement on Monday that the blaze was reported last week at a home in Stanford. Police say 39-year-old Jason Netherton was found dead inside and an investigation led to the arrest on Saturday of 35-year-old Tiffiney Griffin. Police say she’s charged with murder, arson, tampering with evidence and abuse of corpse. Online jail records don’t list an attorney of record. Police did not release further information.
