Luke Richardson is honoring his late daughter Daron while filling in as acting coach of the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL semifinals. It has been 11 years since Daron Richardson died by suicide at age 14. Richardson and his family started Do It For Daron to bring attention to youth mental health. He tapped the DIFD pin on his lapel after Montreal beat Vegas in his first game in place of Dominique Ducharme. Ducharme is isolating after testing positive for the coronavirus. That put Richardson into the biggest coaching job of his lengthy hockey career.
