LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — A Louisville sewer worker had been viewing pornography on his phone before he crashed into a police cruiser in 2018. The crash killed Detective Deidre Mengedoht. The new details were in a court filing from prosecutors this week. They say former Metropolitan Sewer District worker Roger Burdette was driving his work truck when he used his phone to visit a pornographic website. He crashed into the police cruiser minutes later. Prosecutors say Burdette had looked at similar videos that day while he was working. He has been charged with murder and a trial is scheduled for July.
