Kucherov leads Lightning to verge of back-to-back Cup titles

Nikita Kucherov has led the Tampa Bay Lightning to the verge of a second consecutive Stanley Cup championship by doing a little bit of everything. Kucherov leads all scorers in the playoffs with 32 points despite not playing the entire regular season while rehabbing from hip surgery. He has also driven the bus for the Lightning by serving as a vocal leader on the bench and showing an improved all-around game. Kucherov has five points through the first three games of the Cup final. It’s no coincidence then that Tampa Bay has beaten the Montreal Canadiens in all three and is going for the sweep.
